When I was around 16 I went for a ride with my later to be husband, but then boyfriend on the back of his motorcycle. He picked me up early in the morning and I hadn't eaten anything that morning or the night before. The sun was hot and at that time I didn't know that I was hypoglycemic.
We stopped at a lake off the main highway and sat at the top of a cliff over looking the lake. We sat for a while and then my boyfriend said let's go. He stood up and walked a few steps. I tried to stand and then everything went black. I was sitting on the ground then , but afraid to move because I thought I would fall off the cliff. I yelled to him I can't stand I'm blind.
That's all of this world I remember then I saw a dark room with a child sitting in the far corner naked scared and starving. The child was huddled in the corner and this child was me, but another me was also floating and as I was floating all the answers of the universe were going through my brain at very high speed. I new the answers to all questions and mysteries of our world. I was at peace and felt love completely.
I looked to the other side of the room and saw a tunnel with a bright light. The light was beautiful and touched my heart completely. I wanted to go to the light so badly. That's all I cared about. In the light stood a man that I new some how. His arms were stretched out to me to come to the light. Behind him to the right stood other people I new also , but wasn't aloud to see the faces of anyone because the light hide the faces from me. Young and old waiting for me to come into the light. I then heard a gentle , but strong voice say "It's not time." The man slumped his shoulders and dropped his arms then walked into the light. The other people also left.
I woke up choking and coughing. My boy friend was yelling and crying for me to wake up! Oh God, please wake up he said as he lightly slapped my face. As I awoke he held me close and said "I thought you were gone you're eyes rolled back in your head and you made a gurgling noise and then you stopped breathing." I never told him the story until years later and I have never forgotten the experience.
