Mother's Day Mishap

I was 12 years old and attending a private school in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Our group home was on a Mother's Day trip to the park. A few friends convinced my to get on a ride called the "The Rattler". I had never been on the ride before and didn't know what to expect.

The ride has six mechanical arms stemming from one base and the arms had three cars attached to each end, however the seats were not equipped with seat belts, only a safety bar to hold onto. My friends and I each got in separate cars and they began the ride.

As it picked up speed, it gave a sudden jerk and it picked me up out of my seat. I decided to hold on with one hand grasping the bar and the other arm wrapped around the body of the car. It picked up more speed and gave an even stronger jerk that shot me straight in the air.

I can remember hovering in the air, but the only thing I remember after that was waking up on the ground, not knowing if I was hurt or even alive.

I tried pushing myself up from the bricklayed groundwork, but I couldn't use my right arm. I looked over and noticed that my wrist was crooked and both bones were protruding from my wrist. The pain rushed into my body and I knew then that I had survived an almost 20 foot fall from a small roller coaster onto to a brick pavement. I had also broken the upper bone in my arm, had internal bleeding and a concussion. This all happening to a 12 year old boy on Mother's Day and being away from his mother.

I've had 4 near death experiences in my life with one just coming two days before this article.

On my way back from vacation, my female companion and I were in my truck when we hit a patch of black ice in Missouri and lost control of the Chevy Blazer. My companion was driving and couldn't control it. We hit a ditch and the truck flipped over and landed on its side. She was wearing a seatbelt, I wasn't. I ended up being thrown in the back seat, but I only came out with a few body aches and a cut finger. The roof on the passenger side was totally crushed in, the windshield was shattered, and the back window was busted completely out, but I survived. And because of my most memorable NDE on Mother's Day in 1984 and the two others I've had, this one gave me the biggest rush. I can still feel the truck spinning and it doesn't bother me at all.

I know that I have been given several chances to live and that my grandmother is watching over me. I believe I am being kept alive for a specific reason...I just need to find out what that is.
