I chanced on your website and I'm glad I found a site that relates with my experiences. 

From late 1979 to early 1990, almost every night as I lay my back on bed and close my eyes, before I feel asleep, I felt getting out of my body in a split second then I'm floating with the white clouds. I felt so light and very peaceful, so peaceful that I don't even think of anything. It is bright but not warm or cold. It seems I'm alone in this world but I'm not scared and worried. Then I see me floating above a garden of flowers, but seems like I'm still in the space. All I felt was being so light and so peaceful. 

Then in a split second, I'm back in my body in bed, and then I fell asleep. My floating comes very easily I did not even have to try. One day, I was surprised when our eldest son, who was in the medical school, told me that "he is not floating anymore", saying that maybe it was because he was always tired and lacking sleep due to his exams. I did not know he was experiencing the same "floating" like I had. 

Eight years ago, my family migrated to the United States, with the exception of our eldest son. Our migrating was planned only a year before. While up there in the sky, I felt the same feeling of floating when I reclined and closed my eyes, and when I looked out the window we were in the midst of the white clouds. I experienced the same when I was on the plane to North Dakota. 

I can't do it now, although I try so hard to feel it again. I miss that extraordinary feeling of peacefulness.
