This happened a few months back, on an ordinary night. I went to bed at about 11:30 and lay doing whatever i normally do. After falling asleep I began dreaming (I dont remember the actual dream) until I realised, while in my sleep that i was dreaming, so i had control. I have been practising OOBE's before to no avail but when i realised that i was dreaming i almost panicked, and tried to tell myself not to think about waking up, or i would. After the initial billion possibilities came to mind, I remembered i could do anything. SO I flew, over the town, over my house. I saw the local petrol station and a whole lot of houses. then as quickly as it had begun, I said to myself "thats enough" and i opened my eyes, staring at my roof. I dont know if it was a true OOBE but considering i didnt remember my dream up until that point, it has to be something.
