Out of Body, Out of Mind?

When I was a young girl, probably about 8, I had an out of body experience. I was home sick with a fever, and, against my mother's instructions, I took a VERY hot bath. Naturally, after a while, I started to feel a bit sick to my stomach, and, feeling scared, and guilty for defying my mom, I got out of the tub to look for her. I was walking down the hall, when all of the sudden I just *slid out*. I was up on the ceiling, watching myself walk down the hall. I remember seeing my very red butt cheeks, and wondering how my body was moving without me in it. Then my body turned the corner back into the bathroom. I followed. When I began to wonder what was going to happen next, my body put her hands and face against the bathroom mirror. Suddenly I was back inside, looking into my own eyes. CREEPY! I've tried many times since then to reduplicate the experience, but have never been successful. Maybe that's a good thing.
