The Astral Shadow

one of my OOBE's i saw my astral shadow. this was a cool experience. what is odd is that usually before i project, i plan what it is i want to do and where i want to go. but what i did this one time did not occur to me till after i was 'out'. i floated up to the ceiling, and decided to see what my astral shadow would look like. i mean, would i even have a shadow, or would light go right thru me? did this kind of thing even apply on the astral plane? anyway, i put myself in the way of light to make a shadow and here's what it looked like: it was in the outline of my body, like it normally is, but instead of being a solid gray shape what it was made of was a pattern, much like TV snow except for the fact that it was spaced farther apart and more "glittery" than TV snow. but it was jumbled, and moving and constant. it was very interesting and i must have stared at it for a while! anyway i just wanted to share that, for those that practice projecting it may occur to you to try this, maybe this was my own perception of it but id like to know what others' astral shadows look like!
