Was This a Parallel Universe?

this was an obe unlike any other i have ever had. i left my body, and felt like i was just a tiny white dot of light, surrounded in a black atmosphere, like outer space but with no stars. i felt like i was leaving our universe. then, i was back in my body, but it wasn't REALLY my body! i was awake, dressed, and walking around my old house. i 'knew' somehow that i had been displaced into what i could only figure was a parallel universe to ours. i knew i was in a 'parallel me'. i was a few years younger than the real me, about 15 or 16 years old (really, i am 21). i was living with my grandma, brother, and BOTH parents, which was weird, because in reality my parents had divorced when i was 13, so at age 16, it would have been just me and my grandma, with my mom and brother living on another block, and my dad would have been in Georgia.

in this parallel universe, things were pretty much as they are now (as far as the arrangement of the house, the way we all looked at the time, etc.) except my parents were still together. i remember being really scared of my dad, and i was avoiding him for some reason. i was trying to explain to my brother and my grandma that "my consciousness was re-birthed into this dimension, i am not who you think i am". i asked my brother if he knew my name, and he told me some name other than my own, (that i could not remember when i finally woke up). i told him my name was brittany beth, and did it sound at all familiar to him; it did not. i described my body switch to him as best i could and neither he nor my grandma got it, they also did not believe me.

i went then to "my room", which was the same room i actually used to have, except it was still painted pink, as it had been when we first moved there (in reality i had repainted it purple after awhile). also i had a collection of old 'my little ponies', which i collect now in real life, but did not actually collect back when i was 15 or 16, i had given them all to a neighbor when i grew out of them. i remember studying them, looking at which ones i owned in 'this universe' that i did not own 'in my actual universe'. the furniture in my room was a little different than what it really had been, and arranged a little differently.

finally, i sat down and thought "well, if i'm stuck here, in this body, then there is a lot i already know and won't have to learn the hard way, cause i've already done it!" and then i was 'swooooshed' back into my real body. this is the strangest obe-related thing that has ever happened to me. please let me know if any of you have had the same thing happen!
