i found out my guides names!

Yay I found out my guides names I have known my male guides name for about two weeks but was able to confirm it a few days ago. His name is Christopher and he is very sweet and loving. My female guides name is Sara she was a bit shy to come forward but my patience paid off and she introduced herself.When I looked up their names I found out Christopher means "bearer of Christ" and that Sara means "princess" or "mistress/ruler". I asked Sara if they get to chose their names or if they are given them but she didn't know how she got hers. I haven't  asked Chris how he got his yet.

Will you share how you did this so others can try? One of the most asked questions here is "How can I contact my spirit guide?" So any light you can shed, would be very helpful.

I got lucky with Chris because when I was asked if I had one he "talked" to me in my head. It took awhile to figure out I wasn't talking to myself until I got smart and asked for a sign. I tried to think of something unique that I wouldn't normally see so I asked for a black rose. How often do you see a black rose, not much if at all. A few days later I was getting all my books together to organize and label and I found a book in a closet I totally forgot about and whatyaknow the cover had a BLACK ROSE on the cover. Plus he is always saying sweet things to me. When I talk to myself 9 times out of 10 I'm arguing with my self. When I asked for his name Christopher popped into my head before I could complete the sentence in my head. I asked if he was my only guide and I was told that I did have another one.When I tried asking for the others name all I got was that it was a female. A few more days later I made a pendulum chart with letters and emotions written on it I said a prayer of protection with the intention that only those that mean me no harm may come through and that I would like to speak to my guide. I started off with a few yes or no questions was my name Rose got a no for that which was correct then I asked if my name was Amanda  and got the correct answer. A couple more questions later I asked for him to spell his name out for me because I still wasnt sure if I had the right name plus I didn't know how to spell it. My pendulum slowy went around the chart from a to z then it started spelling out Christopher.

When I asked for the others name the pendulum went around the chart from a to z again then started spelling s..a..r..a. I asked if there should be a H on the end of that because I had always thought Sara was spelled S  A  R  A H  but she was very adamant about no H. I had to stop the session after that because i was getting tired and they weren't talking that much just kept telling me to do the dishes .
 The next day I tried talking to them again.After saying my prayer and asking if they were willing to talk to me again I asked which one I was talking to. It was Sara and I could definitely feel the difference between her energy and Chris'energy the pendulum felt heavier and the point was tilted like someone was holding it in their hand. While when Chris answers  the point is down towards the table and feels lighter. When I asked why someone would chose to be a guide because I thought it would get pretty boring watching the same person every day she told me love. Then I went on to ask how long she had been with me. I asked her a few more questions then told her I had to go before I put the pendulum down she made it start swinging to Love which I took as love you.
  I haven't used the pendulum chart since then but I have asked a few yes and no questions. When asked what's the meaning of life they always answer love. Sara seems to like using the pendulum for communication while Chris will happily talk my inner ear off. He gets very annoying when he doesn't let me finish a thought/question before popping in with a remark.

Very cool! Hadn't thought about pendulums to contact or communicate with guides. That is a good idea. Perhaps someone else will be able to use this info.

Congrats! I love hearing people talk about their Spirit Guides! 
One of my Spirit Guides is Amadahy (Cherokee for Amanda, basically) and she's been with me for a while. When I see her, I see her as a medicine woman of sorts with long salt-and-pepper hair and eyes just full of wisdom. I don't think she's a permanent Guide, though, as I feel she's just temporarily in my life to help me out with a few things such as opening up more and trusting my Intuition... something I've been bad at until recently. She's less and less in my life, though, it seems, which is sad but also very good as it shows I'm overcoming what she came here for! Whenever I ask her for help, her answer is normally "You can do it yourself. Just look inside."  Finally instead of getting upset over it, I've excepted it and am able to find the answers and advice inside of me. 
My Angel's name is Michael although I doubt it's the Archangel Michael.    But I remember trying to contact my Angel and I kept getting Michael. Time and time again it has happened so I'm sticking with it. He seems to be my Guardian Angel as he's always around and just doesn't come and go.
I was told out of the blue by a Medium that I have another Spirit Guide that happens to be a Fairy/Faerie named Sarah. I'm not quite sure about this, though, as I haven't felt her prescence and all attempts to contact her fail... so I'm not including that one. 
It's always a cool experience, though, to figure out their name! Good job!
