Hello.  I'm new to Archive X.  Found this forum while doing a search on seeing weird things.


We have had strange occurrences over the years and in different homes that we own.  We have been in our current home for a year.  The strange things started to occur within 3 months.  The most unsettling thing is what I think I have seen twice in less then 2 weeks.  I thought I saw a whitish figure cross in front of my door through the window at night.  Made my heart skip a beat and I did a double take but there was nothing there.  This past weekend I was on our deck in the late afternoon and looking into the house through the patio doors.  I am certain I saw a white figure pass through the living room.  I went in the house and couldn't see anything anywhere.  A little while later I had music paused on my computer while I was cooking and the music started to play on it's own.  I paused it again and a short time later it started to play again.  Now this could be a fluke with the computer however I have been trying to get it to happen again and I have not been able to recreate it.


Some other things that have happened in the last year have been hearing sounds like someone is moving about downstairs and there is no one there....the dogs stood at the top of the stairs listening and lightly growling.   We have heard a loud crash and like stuff is being moved around in the basement but can not find the source.  Finally, the strangest one of them all is a crackling sound that comes from the corner of the ceiling in our bedroom.  I reminds me a fire crackling.  We can't trace the source of that sound either.


We have been renovating this home (10 yr old home) and doing some exterior landscaping / digging for a pool and came across burn wood, broken blue glass and pottery.  Have no idea how young/old this stuff is though.


Would like to hear some input on our experiences...especially seeing the whitish figure.....anyone with similar experiences?

were you able to know the story of the house/ land already?
maybe there was a house there before the one you're living in and it was caught down by a fire.
have you tried to find any news about your adress in the web?

Hi! I'm new here. This story sounds like a ghost who is getting upset about construction on the house. Ghosts don't like it when you change the house. I, myself have seen 2 apparitions of spirits, with no logical explanation for them. I have a question, too. Every time I walk to my room, or down the hallway, I feel watched, and I run. It's a scary feeling like someone or something is watching me and about to attack. I don't know what is causing this feeling. It feels like somethings watching me from behind, but when I turn around, nothings there! We have put animals down in our house, and we do live on a farm, so many animals die. Anyone experiencing the same?

There are many who've had the experience of feeling "watched" by something. And of course when the person looks, no one is there.


If it really bothers you, you could try a cleansing of the house. Burn a bundle of sage and wave it around. There are posts here about that. You can use the search. Someone else reported lavender worked, too.


You could "talk" to the general area where you feel this and tell it to leave.

That's interesting! Never heard of that. I don't know if you have heard of it, but there is this show on Animal Planet called The Haunted, and it's a show where people tell about their experiences that I watch. I get a lot of information from it.

OMG!!!! My sister just saw something! She told me that she saw it out of the corner of her eye, a white ball of white, floating, outside her closet. She said after she saw it, she felt uneasy and panic, and fled. She didn't want to be in her room.
