The Silver Cord

I was just researching OBEs, when I came across this interesting web page talking about the silver cord, the umbilical cord that attaches our souls to our bodies. There are also references to the bible mentioning the silver cord.

I find that out of body experiences and near death experiences are often similar. I guess it is just the circumstances that are different.

For a NDE, one should be "clinically" dead.


Often when people send stories to AX they confuse the two because they are so similar and can have similar elements.


Some people report the silver chord when having OOBEs, and some do not. I don't recall the chord being mentioned in NDEs, though. But I could be wrong.
