Shadow Person and White Orbs

The other day, my girlfriend told me as she walked by the living room, she saw a full body of a person, in the form of a black shadow, sitting in my rocking chair in the living room. Then last night, I was walking by the living room and saw a white orb, up high on my wall, as if it had been sitting on top of the curtains and it shot strait across the wall to another, very fast and vanished through the wall. It was about the size of a softball, bright, and stayed the same size as it move.

Tonight, my girlfriend told me she saw a white orb in the kitchen, over the kitchen door. Then a few hours later I took my dog out and saw a larger white orb, moving across the siding on the house next to mine.

Sounds like you've got an orb invasion. 


Interesting you both are seeing them. Any recent deaths in the family or friends? I wonder why such a bunch now. Did you move to a new place or is this still your old place?

We moved in here about four months ago, but she has said she feels something for months now. But no, no recent deaths, except Sammy, my white german shepherd died last month.

She said again last night that she saw the shadow person in my rocking chair again. Its a big indoor wooden rocking chair and she says as she comes out of the bedroom, it rushes out o it as if trying to get away, really fast.

I've done some reading ( thats how I found this place years ago lol ) and I don't like much I read about black shadow figures/clling them shadow people. Most of what I have read is bad. The white orbs though, from almost everything I have read, means protection and I find it funny they started showing up right after the shadow.

The orbs have all been about the size of a softball, except the one I saw outside with Badger. It wasthe size of a basketball, but there was no way a reflection could have cause it and it stayed the same size as it moved off. Light gets bigger or smaller depending on how far or close the ligt source is and there is just no way IMO it would have come from any ind of light source around here.

I moved from Frankfort, to Harrodsburg. We live maybe a quarter to half mile from te oldest street in the state of Kentucky and I'm guessing a half mile from Fort Harrod. We got to the Fort Harrod park a lot, just to sit or walk around. I think Fort Harrod was the first fort west of the mountains? and it was built about the same time as Fort Lexington and Fort Boonesborrough. ( named after Daniel Boone )

We hve an odd picture from the house from a while back that looks like an arm or foot coming out of the floor but it is very blurry so not much proof. We took some pictures of the cemetary at fort oood though, months ago, ad it looks like an actual body of a ghost standing over one of the signs, reading it. I know a lot of people don't believe the pictures thing, but if I can find it I might post it just for people to look.

But the shadow person and orbs just started showing up this week and not to non frequent as we are seeing one or the other every day for the last couple days.

^ Sorry about the typos. I'm on her laptop and this keyboard kills me as I am used to mine. lol Also, I need to look up orange flashes of light I guess. Right after Sammy died, within a week or so, I saw at to different times, orange balls of light shoot across my yard and into the field / farm across the street. They were A LOT  bigger though. maybe three foot round and oval in shape.

We are also bout ten miles, the way the bird flies, from Perryville battle site where between 7 and 8 thousand men were killed in the civil war. We went there last week and it was pretty cool, but nothing odd in any of our pictures exept the confederate cemetary felt a lot colder on a nice sunnt day as soon as we walked into it. The sotry goes that the badly outnubered confederates won the battle but left when they found out how many union troops were in the area ( 58 thousand ) The union burried their dea but left over 3 thousand confederate bodies for the hogs and buzzards to eat. The man who owned the land organized help from the area and they went back and burried the bodies, eaten by pigs and buzzards into th little cemetary area.

Oh yeah, something else weird. We have an antique table we got going to thrift sores from I think the 30ies or forties. ( I got it for 2 or 3 dollars lol so Im kinda happy about that ) but she has a picture of her dad on it and a picture of my dad on it. The frame on her dads somehow broke and fell? the back actually broke and we had to get a new one and then a week or so later, I came in to see my dads knocked over and my dog/Badger is never in this room for any reason at all. I don't allow him in whatsoever because he jumps on the bed and tries to eat blankets lol. But nothing other then myself or her has been in here. When I keep thinking, all kinds of things happen around here. lol

First, I'm sorry to hear about Sammy. I remember pics of him. Tomorrow is one month since we had to let Elmer (our white kitty) go.


I've not gotten any signs from Elmer. *sigh*


It sure sounds to me like you've moved to a busy area - busy as in potential spirit stuff. Congrats on the move! That is very weird about the table and pics. I know I've heard things like furniture can carry a ghost, too. There was a nearby restaurant that was haunted and the waitress told me that one of the ghosts was attached to an old piece of furniture they moved in. Can't remember if it was a bench, table, or cabinet of some sort.


So have you met anyone who might be able to shed some light on all this? A medium or paranormal group? I'd want to check into a local para group and offer the house for an investigation. 


I'd also like to see the pic with the arm or leg!

Sorry to hear about your cat. It is always hard to lose an animal. I was sitting beside Sammy, with my hand on his head and comforting him when he died. I got home, he was in bad shape and I knew he wasn't going to make i because I had seen it before. We thought about driving him to Lexington to an all night vet, but knew he would die on the ride so I felt it was better to let him die at home, with me, where he was comfortable.

Back to the ghost though. I am no longer skeptic since moving here. She is sitting beside me and reminded me that she also thought she saw a man in a white shirt a while back, and that things seem to get moved that we don't remember moving, plus she says she hears music. I also have a lock with a chain on it, on my bedroom door. This is an old hose and the locks are so old and they have no locks so I put one on it, but I walked through the door one day and a few seconds later the chain started swinging and hitting the doorjamb with us looking at it. There was also the old "footsteps" in the attic thing for a while and might still happen once in a while, but I have been in the attic and there is no place for an animal to get in. The attic is not finished, but is the size of two more rooms upstairs and has a floor on one side. It could be made into two more bedrooms with ease. This home is ( I am guessing ) early 1900's. It could even be late 1800s and I am just not sure because of how many times it has been redone. The whole outside has been covered with new siding so I can not see how the woodwork was done, but it predates heat and things like that in the home. It at one point has an old gas furnace that may have been a fireplace long ago, but they built walls around it and covered it all up. We also smell the smell of a cologne, a mans. Phone batteries seem like they are fully charged and then they just drain to nothing. Both her phone and mine. Badger also seems as though he sees things sometimes that we can not, and will even bark at them once in a while. ALso, the curtains in our living room seem to be moved. I will shut them and a day or so later they are pulled to the side where you can see out or in and we saw the other day that one of them has spots on it as if someone put bleach or something on them. I am alergic to bleach and we do not even use it. The closet door will sometimes open, but that could just be it not shutting right. This house is so old that the closets to the bedrooms are connected and you can walk from one bedroom to the next through the closets.

I will try to think, but there really is even more. My girlfriend even wants to move from here to another home. It seemed to die down ad then in the last week is when the shadow person and orbs showed up. These are not orbs in pictures either. They are plane as day in front of us with our own eyes.

I just got out of the shower, walked into my bedroom and got a nice little freak me out. My cigars were sitting on my bed, way away from the edge and when I got to the bed they went flying acros the bed and into the table against the far wall in my bedroom. It was just like someone smacked them or kicked them and the whole pack went flying. They were two feet from the bottom of my bed and in the middle of the bed so they could not have just fallen and they were moving way to fast fr that anyway. I heard and saw a few things in my ten years in frankfort, but that was over ten years. This place and how much it happens is just getting crazy and I am for real starting to agree with my girlfriend that  am thinking I want to move now as well.

I never felt anything dangerous here until the last week or so and now I do worry something bad is around.I'm seriously a little freaked out right now as I am typing this.Its to the point I want to stay up and watch, but my girlfriend scares me more then a ghost so I will go to bed shortly. lol ( that was a joke about her scaring me more then a ghost lol ) but honestly I'm starting to worry now. Those cigars went flying.

She said something about it being bad the other day and I said if it is bad it is not welcome here and needs to leave. Don't know if I should have or not. lol

Also, my girlfriend is part native and follows some of the traditions. She told me even before we moved in together that she wanted to burn sage around my body to protect me because she thought ghost and things were attracted to me or something. I don't know anything about that and have never let her do it lol but she said the other day she needed some sage and was going to burn it in the house. I told her we had some you cook with and she let me know that isn't the sage she means. That's how little I know about it. lol But I found a topic on here about it a few minutes ago so I will try to show it to her when she wakes up in the morning.

This is the picture and I know it is blurry so most will dismiss it just as I pretty much did when my gf took it. This is the doorway leading into our bedroom and the whit thing in the middle is our door. The long wooden looking piece to the right and the foot or arm looking thing to the right should not be there. There is nothing there but open floor with carpet. I know a blurry picture is no proof but I said i would post it if I could find it.

Have you talked to anyone about the house? Previous owners, neighbors, etc? Done any research on it? Googled for news about it? How long have families lived there before moving?


And how about inviting a local paranormal/ghost hunting group?


I've never been in your position, but perhaps a bit of checking might be in order before you move again.

I did find a paranormal group based out of Lexington and they have another branch in southern Kentucky, in Jamestown. It says they offer all services for free and I was going to contact them, but my gf does not want me to. I think she doesn't want anyone to know anything about this / other people around here.

We went out to look for sage today, but couldn't find any in this little town. We may have to go to danville or even as far as Lexington to find an herb store or something that would sell it. We did by a bunch of lavender candles and some lavender air fresheners for now.

The funny thing is, our next door neighbor used to live in this house and moved into the one next door. She said she moved because she was buying the other one, but we found out she only bought it on a land contract as in she can buy it later. She has more rules then we do just renting this place so to me that isn't really a land contract but just renting the home and if she wants to buy it later, she can. She is strange and gets very weird looks on her face when we talk about the home and she ask us questions as well, but nothing about ghost. We kept getting flies in here this year, like I have never seen. I sealed up every crack in the house and they still came in whenever we would open a door, but when we asked her if they were bad at her home she got a very strange look on her face and said no, but as if there was more to it then that. Its just that whenever we ask her something her eyes get big and she for real looks about half crazy.  Then sometimes we ask her about certain things like when work was done on the home and she acts as if nothing is wrong and will stand and talk about it. Our other neighbors are not the type we talk to. They're kind of rough/yard is a junk pile and act like they think they are tough or something. Their plac looks like it used to be a farm and it is just the home area now and there is probably three guys living there and three women/all family. They always cut through my yard to their friends house behind mine and I told them the other night not to be cutting through my back yard at night anymore so I don't think they would want to talk to me now. lol The hard part is asking people about ghost. Some would just think we are crazy, but this is real. This is not a maybe type of thing that can be explained away. When I have wondered or thought things in the past/in frankfort, by the next day or so I would just brush it off as my mind playing tricks on me or whatever and go on, but not this. This is so real there is no way to do that. Even as I lay in bed last night, after posting, I heard the music playing for just a few seconds.

We were thinking about going to the library and trying to research the house, but are not really sure how to do it, and research this area as well. I know a woman burned to death in her home last year, but that is about a half mile or a little more from where our home is. Our home sits on a street with other homes, but across the street is a farm and then it is nothing but farmland/country land from there on out. It is kind of like being on the last street in the city and then the country land starts. I even used to hunt about ten minutes down the road, in the direction of across my street, about ten years ago, with my brother and some friends. Its all woodland and farms once you go past our street.

You know I think it is real when I am buying lavender candles, and driving around looking for sage. I've never bothered with anything like that in my whole life. We even went to the library and checked out books on old folk things, and native things, looking for more info on cleansing type things.

This is all really pretty messed up.

Oh, I'm not sure how long she lived here and I think the people who lived here right before us were not here very long. They tore the home up pretty bad so it has all new carpet and I put down a new floor in the kitchen so the flooring is all new now except our bathroom. Its a pretty nice, small home and we got it at a good price.

Okay, about the sage bundles. I've seen them at Earth Fare, a whole foods chain store kind of place. You might try a health food store as they often carry organic stuff not of the norm. Try the health food store, maybe even a mom and pop place would have it.


Too bad your GF doesn't want to try the investigators. But I guess, I can understand her reasoning. But aren't investigators supposed to keep stuff confidential unless told otherwise? You could ask them. That may ease her mind. Then folks wouldn't be hunting down your addy and driving by gawking. 




Okay, about the research. County records will show who owned the house and when. Our little county in TN is online and I got free access to all that info for 30 days. So I could look up previous owners and such. You might try starting with that. If you go to the courthouse, they have the records and they are public info. You can get access there. If you go to the library, you can check old newspapers, too for stories. But I think I'd start with the ownership stuff first. Any old farts in town who might know the history? You could ask them.


Your neighbor knows something, no doubt about that. Wonder why she's holding back?


You've been part of this forum long enough, I sure do hear you loud and clear about the sage and lavender.    You are definitely experiencing something odd there.

If you can handle an unruly person (which is a bundle of energy fields), handling a few misbehaving energies is simple. Think about it that way.
The most damaging thing you can do to it is ignore it. So if you want war, don't boo or applaud for it. Instead put on your own show and make it into the spectator.
Don't abandon yourself to anything, especially fear.
Crystals and cleansings and circles and such are all just vehicles to prepare you mentally for whatever you're trying to make happen. You don't need props, you just need soberity, clarity, purpose, and unbending intention.
And after you have your shadow whipped, maybe get brave and call him out.
Joking. Don't waste your time with that. But if you're crazy and don't mind diving in blind, I have a few techniques that will let you see him, -more or less- on demand.
