Ouiga Boards

I tried searching for this but didn't find much, so thought I'd start a thread on this topic. If someone were to want to use a ouiga board to summon ghosts or open communication with one, how would they go about it exactly and what strategy is most effective (i.e., use of candles, chants, etc)? And do ouiga boards honestly work? What's there to keep in mind to ensure that you get the most out of the experience and what's said to close the portal to keep unwanted spirits from staying with you? What boards or brand/kind of board is often best? I'm not doing this, but a friend of mine is considering it. The spirit of halloween is approaching, so that could be a factor in their wanting to try it. Suggestions, thoughts....?

I certainly appreciate your feedback on my query. I've always heard about it, my mother tried when she was young with no success & got rid of the board shortly after, in her teens. Many say it's a matter of your subconscious while others, demons or spirits. I'm often careful with anything I do. I've read enough stories and cautions to know what I'm doing when I get around to trying it. Again, I appreciate what you had to say. I still want to try it. Not to go against what you think, just for my own peace of mind so I have my own opinions about it. Maybe it'll work for me, maybe not. But we'll see. Thanks for replying and sharing your thoughts.
