On the night of the super moon my friend and I decided to visit the old covered bridge where the ghost of Emily is said to reside. The bridge is the same one in the ebook ‘From the Rafters’ and is widely known to be haunted.
When we arrived there were already spectators and ghost hunters at the bridge waiting for the bewitching hour of midnight. Before we had a chance to get out and walk onto the bridge, more cars began pulling in. Soon there was close to twenty people standing on the bridge with cameras and recorders.
Since it was the night of the super moon, the pull from the moon on the earth’s gravitational field would be at its highest level of the year. We thought, perhaps the additional energy would help ghosts to manifest and increase the likelihood of either Emily or another spirit showing.
However, we found in the past, the more people present the less likely spirits would appear. That may be due to the chaos of so many people moving about hoping to see or capture a ghost in a photo or recording. Yet, even with all the people at the bridge we both hoped this night would be special due to the super moon.
Soon someone suddenly screamed and ran off the bridge. She said she had seen a smoky image that frightened her enough to cause her to flee. A couple of minutes later a male quickly moved off the bridge claiming that something had pushed him from behind and then against the back of his head. Yet no one was standing near or behind him!
After hearing these accounts my friend and I decided not to enter the bridge. We stood at one of its openings and aimed our camera at the super moon and the roofline of the bridge. We took many wonderful photos of the moon and starlit night.
In one of the photo we captured a huge bright blue orb resting just above the roofline with the super moon next to it in the background.
Excitingly we headed home to take a closer look at the photo of the blue orb on a computer screen. When we enlarged it sure enough a man’s face was clearly visible within the orb!
Although we did not see Emily on the bridge that night of the super moon, certainly others from the spirit world were there.
